The MSc in Electronic Science and Technology (MScEST) is a 3-year, 120 ECTS postgraduate programme jointly delivered by the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), Cyprus, and Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU), China. Taught entirely in English, it educates engineering specialists in electronic and electrical engineering who are equipped to research, teach, and manage engineering projects in an international, bilingual environment.
The programme pairs a rigorous taught component with an extended, co-supervised research experience spanning both partner universities. Graduates leave with solid theoretical foundations, the ability to conduct research independently, to follow and contribute to the latest technological developments, to publish their work, and to collaborate across an international academic community.

The programme follows a 1+1+1 year structure across three academic years, with study split between the two partner universities:

Every student is co-supervised by an academic from each university, ensuring sustained input from both institutions throughout the thesis.

Applicants need a recognised university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics, or a closely related discipline, with a minimum cumulative average of 6.5/10. Proof of English-language proficiency is required (e.g. IELTS ≥ 6.5, TOEFL ≥ 580 paper-based / 82 internet-based, or equivalent); graduates of English-taught universities are exempt.
