Mingyu Gao was born in 1963, and received the M.S. degree in Power Electronics from Zhejiang University, China, in 1993, and received the Ph.D. degree from Wuhan University of Technology, China, in 2013, in Information and Communication Engineering. He joined Hangzhou Dianzi University, China, in 2001, where he is currently a professor in the School of Electronic and Information. He is the director of Zhejiang Provincial Key Lab of Equipment Electronics. Meantime, he is the deputy leader of Zhejiang New Energy Vehicle and Intelligent Transportation Major Special Expert Group. His current research interests are in the areas of industrial electronics and vehicle electronics.
